We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Manufacturing Development Engineer to join our team at our new manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing and optimizing our production processes from the ground up. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaborative spirit to support innovative projects and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manufacturing Process Development: Design and implement new processes for our innovative product lines, ensuring scalability and efficiency. 

  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex chemical, mechanical, and electrical issues with minimal supervision. 

  • Documentation: Create and maintain essential documentation, including specifications, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

  • Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure all processes meet regulatory and industry standards. 

  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams locally and at other sites to ensure smooth integration of new processes and technologies. 

  • Identify, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and machinery to meet production needs and optimize operational efficiency. Design, develop, and test new products and processes while improving existing designs. 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,  or a related field. 

  • Minimum  5 years' experience in process or product engineering, preferably within an R&D or high-tech environment. Experience establishing new production sites, lines, or processes. 

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex problems involving production processes and equipment.  

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting timelines. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies 

  • Ability to think innovatively to solve unique challenges associated with establishing new production processes.  

  • Precision in diagnosing faults and executing repairs 

  • Ability to start by Q4 2024
