Manufacturing Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Manufacturing Development Engineer to join our team at our new manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing and optimizing our production processes from the ground up. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaborative spirit to support innovative projects and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Process Development: Design and implement new processes for our innovative product lines, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex chemical, mechanical, and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
Documentation: Create and maintain essential documentation, including specifications, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure all processes meet regulatory and industry standards.
Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams locally and at other sites to ensure smooth integration of new processes and technologies.
Identify, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and machinery to meet production needs and optimize operational efficiency. Design, develop, and test new products and processes while improving existing designs.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in process or product engineering, preferably within an R&D or high-tech environment. Experience establishing new production sites, lines, or processes.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex problems involving production processes and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting timelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Ability to think innovatively to solve unique challenges associated with establishing new production processes.
Precision in diagnosing faults and executing repairs
Ability to start by Q4 2024
