We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technician to join our dynamic team. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaborative spirit to support innovative projects and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior engineers and other cross-functional teams while driving projects to meet urgent timelines.
Strong ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in experimental setups, utilizing root cause analysis techniques.
Install, operate, or maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems or processes to meet requirements.
Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
Collaborate with production teams at other sites to ensure smooth integration of new processes and technologies.
Monitor process performance metrics, conducting root cause analysis for any deviations.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance or mechanical work, preferably within an R&D or high-tech environment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex machinery and experience with preventive maintenance programs.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus meeting urgent timelines.
Ability to think innovatively to solve unique challenges associated with R&D projects.
Precision in diagnosing faults and executing repairs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating a forklift, scissor lift, and other industrial equipment
Hands-on welding experience
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment: Must have flexibility to work longer schedules to complete necessary tasks. Ability to wear PPE especially while working with chemicals and hazardous materials.
