THE ROLE: 

As a Tech Lead FanID - Marketing Services (m/f/d) at Sportradar, you will be responsible for developing the right capabilities in the ad:s tribe, equipping team members with the skills, tools and standard approaches to deliver functional excellence and value to the business. At the same time, the Technical Lead is a practicing and hands-on engineering, working alongside other Engineers as part of a Squad. As Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the line management and development of the people who are members of your team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Member of the Tribe’s Engineering Leadership group, contributing to topics such as:
    • Operational concerns like Security, Incident Management, DevOps, MLOps, Audit and Compliance 
    • Recruitment and Mentorship 
    • Engineering Roadmap 
    • SDLC alignment and improvement plans 
  • Responsible for providing line management duties for all team members with a view to focusing on coaching and mentoring techniques aligned with agile principles and values. 
  • Responsible for providing an inclusive environment where team members have the freedom and safety to innovate, experiment, and learn from failure. 
  • Responsible for providing open and effective communication channels leading to greater knowledge transfer and alignment within the team

YOUR PROFILE: 

  • 5+ years of professional experience in agile/lean software development, working on complex systems that serve many users
  • Hands-on people and technical leadership experience
  • Proven commercial experience developing in Python or similar languages  
  • Able to communicate effectively in all circumstances with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders
  • A passion for bringing great products into our world through collaboration and ingenuity
  • Proven background in a production machine learning environment, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models (deep learning and neural networks) and applying privacy-first AI frameworks
  • Advantageous to have cryptographic or data clean room knowledge of the market
  • Have experience scaling a team from the ground up to beyond 4 or more team members

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience. 

We relocated to our office near the Nordbahnviertel in the 2nd district of Vienna in Q1/2024. Due to the top inner-city location, we are excellently connected to the public transport network and the cycle path network and are therefore very easy to reach. In addition, we offer our employees a state-of-the-art infrastructure near the center of the most livable city in the world.
