Assoc Director / Director, Audits and Compliance - B2B SaaS - Remote

The Role

The Director, Audits and Compliance is a product and technology aficionado, with expertise in the areas of Information Security Compliance, Risk Assessments and Audits.

This is a unique and crucial role within Sprinto. The role requires cross-functional collaboration as well as superior execution and communication skills in a fully-remote setup. The North Star for a person playing this role would be to ensure a great Audit Experience for Sprinto's global customer base as we continue to expand across:

1. The number of compliance frameworks offered

2. The number of audit partners we work with

3. The nature of our customer's business (SaaS product, Technology Services, Other Services, Physical goods etc.)

All this while remaining true to our ethos to build and scale as a SaaS product-first company.

• Develop a deep understanding of the compliance automation ecosystem, capabilities of various products in this space, integrations, and partner ecosystem
• Continuously build compliance expertise by researching new and existing compliance standards / protocols (Eg: NIST OSCAL)
• Establish an engine to continuously improve the compliance know-how of the overall team -- across Sales, Customer teams, Product and Marketing
• Lead a team that works with Marketing, Sales, Success and the Product teams to launch and deliver new compliance framework capabilities
• Engage with prospects, clients and industry experts to provide feedback to the product team and help prioritise features and functionality needed to drive growth opportunities and improve customer experience
• Build and maintain a network of reputed audit partners across the globe to ensure a hassle-free end-to-end journey for our customers
• Last but not least, continue to improve Sprinto's own security and compliance posture as we scale to a global business

• 8+ years of experience in the Information Security and Compliance domain -- across various Information Security Compliance frameworks, Risk Assessment Frameworks, Audits with top audit firms
• Strong preference if you have prior experience in a software/SaaS company
• The US market is the fastest growing market for Sprinto - we would need individuals who are comfortable working late hours and interfacing with prospects, partners and customers based in the US
• Exceptional written communication, organisation and presentation skills -- crucial to work in a fully remote, cross-functional role
• Eagerness to continuously learn and gain expertise in the domain of information security compliance
• Proficiency in leading a small unit of audit and compliance experts within Sprinto
• Note: This is a very hands-on role. Folks who are best suited for this role are strong at execution and getting things done.
