CRM Lead

Squarespace is looking for a CRM Lead to collaborate on and execute multi-product CRM strategies. We are looking for a channel expert with hands-on experience in email marketing, capable of developing and operationalizing CRM tactics to support Squarespace growth initiatives. You will oversee the scheduling, creation, and deployment of email and mobile campaigns, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will collaborate with internal partners, driving the development of on-brand email templates and content. To succeed in this role, you must have a comprehensive understanding of all essential email marketing components, including template design, copywriting, and overall channel best practices.

You will work hybrid in our New York office and report to the CRM Associate Director.

You'll Get To...

• Channel Management: Develop, implement, and optimize campaign performance across multiple CRM channels to drive engagement, retention, and loyalty within the Squarespace portfolio.
• Campaign Operations: Lead development and execution of email, push, and in-app campaigns to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates, open rates and conversion.
• Testing and Optimization: Recommend and oversee multivariate tests across various audiences to improve channel performance.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a CRM subject matter expert, providing consultation and best practices.
• Data + Targeting: Collaborate with Audience Strategy and Marketing Analytics teams to fulfill campaign performance requests and data needs for member segmentation, dynamic content, and UTM tracking.
• Process Oversight: Manage all processes and documentation related to campaign QA and deployment, ensuring adherence to highest standards and timelines.
• Design and Templates: Maintain an eye for email design and brand standards, ensuring visual and functional standards are met. Be comfortable laying out basic email designs in Figma.

Who We're Looking For

• Experience: 4+ years in a direct marketing/CRM role, with proven success in using multiple channels for customer communication.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design, email processes, and ESP platforms. Iterable and Braze experience preferred.
• Project Management: Extensive experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to lead complex projects to successful completion.
• Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of domestic and international email compliance laws, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.
• Passion for Product: Strong enthusiasm for Squarespace products and mission
• Meticulous attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and quality in all email campaigns.

Cash Compensation Range: $105,500 – $130,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
