Software Engineer, Java - New Graduate

The Domains group is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Email team! The Email Team provides customers the ability to create email aliases for their domain and provides tools to purchase inboxes for their domains. On this team, you will build an experience that is intuitive for our customers who are either Domains only or using Squarespace to establish their online presence through websites.

This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Manager.

This role will be open until Thursday, October 31st.

You'll Get To…

• Help scale our services to support our growing product needs
• Participate in high impact projects to help build the future of the Email product
• Work with and learn from Senior and Staff engineers on the team
• Lead well-scoped backend projects with guidance from senior engineers

Who We're Looking For

• Recent graduate (Fall 2023 or Spring 2024) or graduating senior (Fall 2024) with Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Experience developing production systems using Java or similar Object-oriented languages
• A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, databases and software design practices

Cash Compensation Range: $96,500 - $155,250 USD
