The sales execution aspect of this role won’t be perfectly laid out or defined at first, but you’re someone who is energized and can operate effectively in that kind of ambiguity. You are highly communicative about what’s working, but also about what needs to be improved, taking creative actions to find solutions and build improved processes.
You'll succeed if you embrace rolling up your sleeves, and enjoy finding the balance between short-term needs and long-term investments. Your working style is highly collaborative, process driven and decisive when needed. The idea of “starting from scratch” and building something new excites you. Ideally you’ll have a Bachelors Degree in a related field, and bring excellent professional experience in stakeholder management, sales system design and data analysis.

What the role is

Drizly for Business provides simple and customized corporate ordering solutions and streamlined alcohol fulfillment options for companies small and large, whether it be for their employees, clients, or customers. We work with thousands of corporate clients across several industries and cater to many use cases - including happy hours, virtual events, corporate partnerships and bulk gifting.

Until now, the Drizly for Business (Driz4Biz) team has been operating in a reactive manner, with the majority of our efforts focusing on managing inbound leads from SMB clients. As our business grows and our product offerings expand, our focus will shift to an outbound sales approach, focusing on the Mid Market and Enterprise space. This person will ensure these new clients have a best-in-class experience when using D4B’s platform. As a natural leader, you will set the culture, tone, and direction for our new sales organization as we look to activate and acquire new customers within the B2B segment.

Leading a high-performing team of 3 Sales Executives, this role will be on the frontlines driving performance, developing and testing new strategies to drive growth. A key responsibility will be building strong internal & external relationships to develop outbound sales plans, new product offerings and drive acquisitions. The ideal candidate has a strategic mentality, is data-driven, and is a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of building the Driz4Biz sales arm, and to be the forcing function behind how we structure and implement our outbound sales strategy. We need creative thinkers and builders with a strong sales background who are passionate about building and scaling a B2B sales team.

In this role you will:

    • Use your 3+ years in Sales Leadership roles to spearhead the charge for Drizly’s B2B Sales arm. Drive overall strategy, execution, operations, and growth of this new channel within Driz4Biz.
    • Lean on your 5+ years of experience selling solutions directly to SMB, Mid-Market or Enterprise customers.
    • Partner with Corporate Business Development Manager to build go-to-market processes, establish performance metrics, quotas & targets, as well as drive org efficiency.
    • Help to build and develop a sales platform like Salesforce or Zendesk Sell.
    • Work closely with Corporate Account Management, B2B marketing, Corporate PM and White Glove to support processes that scale and innovate Driz4Biz sales from the ground up.
    • Contribute to development of sales compensation & incentives that align with our broader D4B Strategies.
    • Collaborate with and work alongside Uber for Business sales to proactively seek opportunities to improve systems, processes and tooling, while also identifying new leads.
    • Own and refine forecasting and planning processes
    • Support ongoing growth and development by leaning on your experience hiring, building and training a successful sales team

For Colorado-based roles: The salary/hourly rate range for this role is $127,737 per year - $150,279 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Drizly's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, commissions, & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
