Sr Strategic Finance Analyst

About the Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Financial Analyst who understands how to create magic with numbers. Are you ready to revolutionize the small business banking industry with us?

Build and maintain relationships across the organization to support effective finance partnerships. In this position you will be the primary point of contact of the Financial Services business unit.
Sophisticated financial modeling - build models from scratch, improve existing models, break complex models down into components that consolidate - you can do it all
Think strategically and then execute - the models we build aid in decision making and strategy (e.g. using customer LTV/CAC to influence capital allocation) - we operationalize our insights
Assist in maintaining and improving financial processes and infrastructure to automate and support the growth of our business
Synthesize and distill key financial and business insights to help teams effectively manage headcount and expenses within budget
Develop and monitor critical success and business performance metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders

PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-office position located in our Miami, Florida office.

Requirements for the Role:

2-5 years professional experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, corporate strategy and/or consulting
Strong knowledge of financial planning and forecasting, financial accounting concepts and business process best practices
Needs to have the ability to breakdown complex problems using data analysis and to understand problems with a first principle approach
Can-do attitude and effective communication skills with an ability to build strong working relationships across the company and drive incremental change
Proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet pressing deadlines.
Builder at heart and thrives in an ambiguous and evolving environment
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting/finance or related field

Nice to Have, But Not Required:

Advanced Excel, GDoc, SQL, experience is preferred
