What You’ll Be Doing:
Evolent is looking to hire a Sr. Associate of Commercial Strategy. In this role, you’ll be part of a high-performing growth team focused on driving partnerships with leading health plans nationally with deal values of $5M+ per year. The Sr. Associate will play a critical role in executing against Evolent’s enterprise Business Development goals.
The person in this role will lead research efforts that will be a foundational part of identifying target accounts and will coordinate with internal partners to execute against a multi-pronged outreach strategy. He or she will also support pipeline throughout efforts across the sales journey. These activities include supporting preliminary prospect discussions, client presentations, RFP(I)’s, and collaboration with internal stakeholders on pricing, contracting and implementation. Strong organizational skills and a solution-forward approach will be important drivers of success for this role.
Role responsibilities include:

Conduct thorough client and market analysis to help identify key accounts

Leverage insights from product, clinical and market strategy to develop stakeholder specific value propositions

Help develop and curate a targeted outreach strategies
-
Develop client prep packs and market packs to support sales pursuits

Help develop materials/decks for both external sales conversations along with internal stakeholder meetings

Maintain accurate documentation in Sales Force
The Experience We Prefer:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
-
3+ years professional experience working within in a complex business development environment.

Demonstrated success as a critical member of a business development team.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy
Finishing Touches:

Effective presentation skills and listening skills

Strong ability to navigate matrixed team environments to achieve buy in from all parties and own results

Experience in the healthcare industry preferably in a health plan or health system environment
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $75,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
