About the role

The Sr. Global HR Compensation Manager is a high impact role, reporting to the VP, Global Human Resources, that will support the business objectives and talent strategy at CloudBees. You are a subject-matter expert, ensuring pay practices are understood and effective while creating analytics and insights that support the talent strategy. You are a partner, collaborating with HR and other internal stakeholders to effectively roll out initiatives. The position is also responsible for staying abreast of best practices and developments in applicable laws related to compensation, developing compensation-related employee communication and education programs.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate current compensation tools and processes and create scalable global pay structures, salary ranges and jobs structures
  • Provide guidance to HR partners and internal customers on compensation matters
  • Develop and manage annual compensation programs, including merit and bonus administration, benchmarking reviews, and analytics in partnership with internal partners
  • Perform internal and external competitive market pay research, analysis, job classification, pay practices and pay delivery models
  • Assist in preparation of materials for the compensation committee of the board of directors
  • Develop meaningful HR analytics and deliver fact-based insights to HR and business leaders to enhance the company’s talent strategy
  • Administer long-term and short incentive programs and ensure accuracy of data management systems
  • Administer all compensation surveys and research new sources for external data collection
  • Develop training and educational tools to communicate compensation philosophy, guidelines, and tools available

Who you are

  • Demonstrated strong financial, data analysis, problem-solving and storytelling skills
  • Progressive experience with compensation design and analysis in a high growth environment, handling a broad range of tasks in support of the business
  • Advanced experience with relevant compensation, financial and compensation related regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact successfully with all management levels
  • Exceptional results orientation: a high degree of personal initiative, very hands on, a customer-centric attitude with a bias for getting things done
  • Effective business partnering, collaboration, and service orientation
  • Organization skills with detail orientation and proven project management capabilities, including the capability of managing multiple key projects simultaneously
  • Strong HRIS systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of HR processes (e.g., Performance Management, Merit Planning, Goal Setting)
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills and outstanding analytical skills, a must
  • 10+ years of progressively more responsible experience managing compensation programs in a high-tech environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree (CCP Certification a plus)
