Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our global marketing teams at Trend Micro, a global leader in cybersecurity. As a part of the growth marketing team at Trend Micro, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing compelling go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate the value and benefits of our industry-leading cybersecurity platform.
Your focus will be on crafting compelling stories, creating engaging content that resonates with teams SOC teams, CISOs and executive leaderships. We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of SOC operations, including the people, technologies, and processes that streamline an effective security operations center, a keen understanding of cyber risk management and quantification, and in-depth knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and the NIST framework. If you have a passion for cybersecurity, a talent for storytelling, and a proven track record in product marketing with expertise in SOC operations and CISO persona, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute captivating product marketing strategies and campaigns that tell compelling stories and highlight the unique value propositions for our XDR platform, with a strong emphasis on storytelling and engaging target audiences in the SOC space while addressing the critical topic of cyber risk.
  • Leverage your deep knowledge of SOC operations, to create a wide range of field assets, including customer presentations, news releases, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, videos, and other digital content formats that highlight the significance of mitigating cyber risk.
  • Collaborate with product management and product marketing management to shape the roadmap and go-to-market (GTM) strategy and positioning, ensuring alignment with technical understanding and market trends.
  • Build creative presentations and deliver them with confidence to internal stakeholders, industry analysts, customers, and media, showcasing deep domain knowledge and a love for engaging storytelling.
  • Support sales enablement efforts, including sales decks and training materials, to empower the sales team with the knowledge and messaging necessary to effectively engage prospects and close deals.
  • Work closely with the integrated marketing team to optimize website content, landing pages, and digital campaigns, ensuring a seamless customer experience that reflects our commitment to cybersecurity, and maximizing lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with integrated marketing team to plan and execute targeted demand generation campaigns and initiatives, such as webinars and events, with a focus on creating engaging content and storytelling experiences.
  • Establish strong relationships with industry influencers, analysts, and strategic partners within the SOC & CISO communities to enhance the credibility and visibility of our cybersecurity platform and its contribution to managing cyber risk.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape, with a particular focus on XDR, SOC operations, cyber risks and boardroom discussions, shaping the roadmap and GTM strategy accordingly.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in B2B technology product marketing, preferably in cybersecurity industry, with a strong technical understanding of XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and cyber risk quantification.
  • Deep knowledge of SOC operations, including the people, technologies, and processes involved in an effective security operations center.
  • Strong understanding of XDR technology and the broader cybersecurity landscape, with a specific focus on SOC operations, addressing cyber risk, and familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.
  • Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations that engage SOC teams and address cyber risk concerns using the risk-based and threat-based approachess.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a variety of marketing assets, including customer presentations, whitepapers, blogs, videos, news releases, case studies, and other digital contents that effectively communicate and connect with the target persona.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated product marketing campaigns with a strong storytelling component across multiple channels, including digital, social media, content marketing, and events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, thriving sometimes in unstructured collaboration and ambiguous team roles and responsibilities.
