Sr. Project Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation - Resin

• Responsible for right design, procurement, and execution of project in functions of Electrical and Instrumentation
• Play Key role in detail engineering work, collaborating with different departments for efficient and on time inputs including SLD, Transformer, Substation/MCC/PMCC designs, Field instrumentation and automation system e.g., DCS, EMS, CCTV, Fire detection monitoring etc.
• Designing of Instrumentation, IPDS review, control valve, on-off valve and PRV sizing, selection of right instrumentation for process, ordering, inspection, installation, and commissioning
• Selection of DCS supplier, leading development of DCS graphics, logic, cause and effect diagram, User interface with System supplier, conducting FAT and SAT for Electrical and Automation system, final acceptance, and release
• Participate in HAZOP/HAZID and other safety studies.
• Lead Equipment and Contractor techno-commercial evaluation, Selection of right supplier and service provider for E & I
• Be part of RFQ preparation, review, evaluation of offers, preparation of technical bid analysis, technical recommendation and post order management of equipment and packages.
• Approval of ITP/QAP for equipment and packages, conduct inspection at E & I suppliers along with TPI.
• Coordinate with EPCM consultant, Site construction team for safe electrical and instrument installations.
• Lead and ensure right construction and installation work on site including site inspection, validation of test reports, quality reports, work acceptance including SAT, work front allocation to other disciplines, managing site progress as per schedule, final loop checking, system file preparation, certification, participating PSSR, Pre-commissioning and mechanical completion activities.
• Support Operation team through coordination with team of contractors/suppliers/equipment vendors during execution, mechanical completion & pre-commissioning trials.
• Collaborate with operation team for efficient plant commissioning following Lubrizol standard and industry best practices. Support Manufacturing team in achieving product quality, develop training plan for operation team on E & I installation, support in SOP and Maintenance practices/program development/review for E & I
• Ensure right deliverables from EPCM consultant and contractors/supplier for achieving designing performance guarantee during commissioning & capacity trials.
• Complete project handover as per agreed terms.

• Graduate in Electrical &/or Instrument Engineering

• Minimum 10 - 12 years’ experience in Project Execution as E & I Lead in Chemical/Petrochemical plants. Worked as Lead in last 3 years.
• Well conversant with industry best practices for project engineering, execution including safety, quality during project delivery.
• On site Field Execution experience is must. Knowledge of work experience with E & I installation, working on Emerson Delta V, Siemens DCS, 66KV to 415 V installations, troubleshooting experience,
• Knowledge of SIL study, SIL certification, HAZOP required.
• Experience on manpower and team management of site contractors and consultant
• Good communication and networking skills
• Previous experience of successfully managing project execution in a MNC having multi culture/diverse global environment
• Experience in Plant maintenance of E & I in chemical plants
• Knowledge of Industries best HSE standards and legal requirements.
• Knowledge of International and National codes and standards in Chemical/Petrochemical plant design for E & I setup.
• Experience of preparing and working with P&ID, SLD, DCS graphics, Panel drawings, panel wiring, C & E diagrams, Interlock, and logic is required. Knowledge of establishing and integrating OT/IT network
