SUMMARY
Support the Account Team to drive sales and long-term initiatives with customer interaction and communication. The Senior Sales Analyst provides sales reporting and data analytics to the Sales, Operations, Category, and Finance teams to drive key decision making and success measurement of the business relative to sales. The Senior Sales Analyst creates and maintains weekly and monthly reports regarding sales trends including point of sale data and customer inventory metrics. Sales Analysts play a key role in the monthly forecast consensus process by providing key inputs regarding potential impacts to future forecasts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Weekly reporting/tracking using customer POS data: Sales, Inventory, Promotions, New Items, etc.
  • Prepare monthly segment trend, competitive analysis and promotional analysis along with insights using POS and syndicated data.
  • Provide support for period and promotional forecasting
  • Develop and manage account specific business plan/annual sales plan
  • Help with business reviews and fact-based account predictions
  • Assist with clearing of deductions
  • Assist in the identification and analysis of business issues and opportunities
  • Leverage available data to support selling efforts like line reviews, promotional pitches, and other selling opportunities
  • Interaction, Communication, and Collaboration with the account (Buyer, Inventory Analyst)
  • Provide Ad-hoc support and analysis as needed
  • Maintain technical skills on appropriate software applications to provide optimum level of support

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make appropriate recommendations
  • Advanced Excel experience with pivot tables, graphs, and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and working with cross functional groups and customer
  • Ability to consult with account teams and proactively identify appropriate
  • Communicate and work collaboratively internally with Kids II and customer
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Service oriented
  • Learning agility
  • 4-year college degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience in sales analysis
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • 4-year college degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience in sales analysis
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • None required.
COMPUTER/TYPING SKILLS
  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photo Shop
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
