What You’ll Do

  • Serve as an embedded, fully-integrated member of an Agile product development team, including demos to both the embedded team and peer writers
  • Develop, validate, deliver, and maintain highly technical, enterprise-level product documentation
  • Work collaboratively and build relationships with Subject-Matter Experts and peer writers across product and customer success teams to coordinate deliverables and dependencies
  • Collaborate with design team to write and maintain UI text as part of the user experience
  • Develop and maintain technical content for multiple delivery channels and multiple audiences
  • Perform peer reviews to match writing and style standards, corporate style guidelines, and success criteria (working collaboratively for consistent quality and standards)
  • Validate technical procedural content as part of the content development process
  • Scope projects and estimate time requirements to meet deadlines and set expectations
  • Work on multiple projects at a time while tracking progress and deadlines.

What the Job Requires

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
  • 4+ years of technical content and/or curriculum development (preferably with 2+ years of enterprise-level experience)
  • Proficiency with creating technical, product-related videos is a plus
  • High proficiency in working with subject-matter experts to clarify and organize complex technical content
  • Willingness to learn about cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Willingness to learn source code management, specifically Git
  • Willingness to learn issue tracking systems, specifically Jira
  • Willingness to learn markup syntax such as AsciiDoc, Markdown, or reStructuredText
  • Experience with Jenkins is a plus
  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery/deployment technologies and processes is a plus
