Quality Assurance Tester

Job Title: Quality Assurance TesterWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.Key Responsibilities• Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and review• Apply a comprehensive understanding of various software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile, to optimize testing processes• Utilize a range of Test Automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, MicroFocus UFT, and various scripting languages to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness• Leverage Test Management tools such as JIRA/ADO and Performance Testing tools like jMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter to ensure thorough and accurate testing• Conduct in-depth data analytics using SQL and MS Excel/VB scripting to support decision-making and problem-solving• Employ a variety of testing tools and enterprise solutions, including Automation, Performance, Test Management, Cloud, Data, and SaaS, to uphold software quality principles• Adhere to and promote software quality principles such as risk-based testing, requirements testing, and management to ensure the delivery of superior software productsRequired Qualifications And Skills• A Bachelor’s degree in technical sciences, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience• A minimum of one year of experience in software development, testing, project management, and business analysis• Proficiency in using Test Automation tools and SQL• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences• Familiarity with Azure DevOps ADO is considered a significant assetAbout SSiWith over 25 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
