Communicates, directs, plans, organizes, and conducts financial monitoring to facilitate the delivery of cost-effective, high quality health care services. Develops short- and long-term strategic and operational plans ensuring alignment with broader organization priorities. Provides leadership to help grow department and enhance operations.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES• Serves as the senior member of the leadership team providing strategic direction on operations. Works effectively as a team member in a dynamic environment and promotes teamwork within and across the organization by maintaining positive relationships and utilizing effective problem-solving skills.• Direct and administers the operational aspects of the behavioral health service line across multiple entities and independent sites. Sites include affiliated hospitals as well as offices and clinics throughout the regional market.• Develops and enhances relationships with community, other public, organizations and groups that expand the effectiveness of the mission.• Collaborates with regional support functions of nursing, finance, planning, quality and human resources to achieve successful outcomes for the hospitals, service lines, network and system.• Participates in the development and implementation of strategic business plans within the behavioral health service line to achieve clinical, growth, and financial outcomes. Responsible for operationalizing business plans through effective engagement.• Assumes fiscal responsibility for budgetary planning and implementation for assigned areas. Responsible for gross revenue of greater than $100 million.• Designs and implements processes to facilitate ease of access to behavioral health services, ultimately leading to growth of behavioral health programs at hospitals and outpatient sites.• Develops, monitors, and revises a strategic plan focusing and directing the organization's future course of action. Develops key performance measures and establishes desired levels of performance based on customer requirements, comparative data and best practices. Evaluates performance data and utilizes it for identification of improvement opportunities and to design and improve processes.• Oversees the employment, supervision, and determination of compensation, consistent with the strategic and financial plan, for all employees of the organization. Coaches and mentors employees. Creates a culture of employee engagement. Organizes departments within the organization through appropriate structure and delegation of functions.
