Join our team and help us keep communities connected.Your OpportunityStantec Consulting Services Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Planner to join our Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering team in the Louisville or Lexington, Kentucky office!This is a part-time position with the potential to grow to full-time hours if desired. As a senior transportation planner, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of planning and design projects as an integral team member. The ideal candidate has superior technical writing skills capable of developing reports and grant applications.Your Key Responsibilities• Assist Stantec in developing grant applications for a variety of transportation projects, including for grant programs in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).• Writing and reviewing technical reports to clearly document the study process and results.• May assist in the preparation of proposals and other marketing endeavors.• Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation• Effective in building and maintaining client relationshipsQualificationsEducation and Experience• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Planning or Civil Engineering.• Minimum 15 years of experienceTypical office environment working with computers.
