Come Join the DES Team!The DES, Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Contract Management Coordinator. This position is responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and quality of all aspects in managing division contract products, including but not limited to statewide agreements, contracts, and memorandums.This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.The State of Arizona strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.Job Duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Manage DCSS assigned contracting efforts that impact services statewide.- Negotiate price and contract agreements, programs, or activities.- Write contracts, memorandums, and agreements for relationships with internal/external stakeholders.- Collaborate with Federal, State, local organizations, and individuals to ensure DCSS compliance with established contractual standards and reporting.- Assist in drafting and coordinating division/administration-wide correspondence and communication on contracts and purchasing.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of:- Federal, State, Department, and Division laws, statutes, regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to contracting.- Federal, State, Department, and Division fiscal and accounting laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and budgetary processes pertaining to contracting.- Procurement practices and contemporary service programs and delivery systems in public agencies.Skills in:- Applying principles and practices of contract/project management, research and analysis.- Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey a wide variety of information.- Preparation and review of contract and legal documents.Ability to:- Interpret laws, rules, regulations, contracts, agreements and memos.- Effectively manage contracts (award, management, monitoring, closure).- Engage in verbal and written communication with internal staff, stakeholders, and partners; respond to internal and external inquiries with tact, diplomacy, accuracy, and timeliness.Selective Preference(s):The ideal candidate for this position will have:- A Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, contract management, or other related fields.
