Registered Nurse 3 (part-time) - Nurse Supervisor

We are hiring a part-time Nurse Supervisor of our nurses and Mental Health Technicians on wards to ensure compliance with nursing standards of care, policies, and procedures. You'll supervise the clinical care of patients and employee performance.
The work schedule is a 12-hour day shift, 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., (36 hours per week).
Evening and Night hours include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Some of what you'll do
• Provide nursing care to patients who have psychiatric disabilities
• Supervise nursing staff, schedule meetings, and utilize a recovery model of care
• Audit aspects of care delivery to ensure fulfillment of Nursing Standards and the CMS conditions of participation
• Attend treatment planning and Multidisciplinary Evaluation and Treatment articulating the nursing needs for patients
• Utilize data and prepare reports to help staff and our administration understand the staffing dynamics and find solutions for providing evidence based care
• Participate in staffing, hospital, or unit-wide committees or work groups, including meeting with labor partners
• Keep staff informed of hospital policy changes and nursing care standards updates
Who should apply
Professionals with a valid State of Washington RN license.
And those who have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing and have two years of professional nursing experience (or equivalent education/experience).
Desired
• Professionals with a Bachelor’s in Nursing
• Psychiatric nursing experience
• ANCC Psychiatric - Mental Health Nursing certification
• Ability to work with those who have behavioral health issues
