Our Team


We are seeking a Stores Associate, to provide tactical coordination for our Gurdon AR storeroom receiving function and related inventory management. The inventory value is $8.9 million with 5203-part numbers. This person will report to the Stores Supervisor.

What You Will Do

  • Work with customers and suppliers to optimize inventory availability and carrying cost, in support of production and maintenance objectives
  • Sustain progressive customer focus and value creation focus on stores and be a team player
  • Meet compliance requirements for inventory accuracy, financial controls, environmental and quality verifications, receipts accuracy
  • Ensure inventory management excellence, including security, replenishment, proper storage and maintenance, timely receipt and issuance, inventory count and reconciliation, new item justification, timely inventory reviews for obsolescence and proper quantities.
  • Create computer generated reports, analyze data, and act on report data to determine course of action for problem resolution and performance improvement.
  • Review and act on resolving late shipment reports and accrued liabilities
  • Use metrics that accurately measure key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and elimination of waste in various stores work processes and inventory management
  • Ensure stores tools and safety equipment are maintained to be safe and reliable
  • Represent facility and corporate headquarters, affiliates, and other locations during monthly stores meetings for the purpose of advancing inventory management excellence and other improvement initiatives
  • Maintain high standard of housekeeping, organized storage layout, and efficient parts flow


Physical/Safety Attributes:

  • Willing and able to routinely lift 35lbs and ability to lift 70 lbs routinely with assistance of another individual

  • Willing and able perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours/day, including but not limited to lifting, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing, and/or bending
  • Willing and able to adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Ability to work flexible hours and extended work hours as required such as extended days or occasional weekends
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets and/or running reports)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge of an inventory management system
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience
