The warehouse of the future is filled with our iFollow autonomous mobile robots instead of forklifts and our Atlas 2D pallet shuttles that allow for high-density storage (no wasted space!). And that's just part of our product offering.

Over the span of more than 40 years, we’ve grown into a company with 9 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of nearly 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries.

In early 2021, we opened our US Office and have already grown to 35 people. It's exciting times to be at stow!

Job Description

What will your day as an Robotics Service Engineer within stow Robotics look like? Challenge is already assured! Below is an overview of the challenges you face within this role in our organisation. 

  • You performs all the necessary tests, repairs, and maintenance of the technical installations at customer sites (this can be done national and/or international).
  • As part of the helpdesk team you provide telephone support to end users and integrators in a limited 24/7 time schedule in a rotating schedule. 
  • You are responsible for PLC software (Beckhoff) configuration and live testing. Affinity with software is recommended. 
  • Training of end users and integrators, at customer site and at Movu Robotics. 
  • You assists the Commissioning team during installations. 
  • Detection commercial Service opportunities at current clients
  • Travelling across US will be part of the schedule, with a few overnights a week
  • Projects across the country doesn't scare you off

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience
  • You’re willing and able to travel to project sites across the USA and Canada consistently; your travel percentage averages 90%
  • Projects abroad do not scare you off
  • Good knowledge of English. French or Dutch is definitely a plus
  • Computer skills: MS Office + Teams
  • You are sociable, eager to learn, driven and cheerful
  • You are not afraid of heights
