The role

Clockwise is growing our sales team and looking for an experienced closer to join our Account Executive team. This is a unique opportunity to join a sales team at an early stage and help build the foundations on which we sell as a team for many years to come. In this role, you will work with many of the most innovative companies in the world as you help guide them on the journey from being our prospect to becoming a customer.

What you'll do

  • Close new business & expansion sales opportunities to achieve individual and company level revenue targets
  • Generate new pipeline opportunities by working with net new leads along with existing Clockwise users on our free plan to establish a partnership
  • Build a target account strategy to experiment with different ways sales can help drive our large deals
  • You will proactively identify opportunities to make the team more effective (new sales collateral, different technology, etc) and work to implement these ideas
  • You will work closely with product and marketing by communicating what's working well and how we can improve
  • You will partner with Customer Success to grow existing customer contracts and support renewals

About you

  • You do more than what's asked of you – you're always looking for ways to improve existing processes to make the team better
  • You're results oriented – you never miss your number
  • You're a great communicator who builds strong cross-functional relationships
  • You pride yourself on being extremely organized – you never let next steps slip
  • You have 3-5+ years of closing experience at a high growth SaaS company

Work location

Fully Distributed: Clockwise has adopted remote-first rituals and technology for all employees in order to create an excellent employee experience for those who opt to work fully-distributed. This extends not only to a stipend for your home office, but through all our company rituals, including a commitment to get together, in person, on a regular cadence. Please note that while we're open to employees located anywhere inside the United States, we are currently oriented around PT office hours.

In-Office: For those who wish to have a physical office to return to, we also offer an option to work from our San Francisco HQ three days a week. We have a beautiful, fun, spacious office where everyone can work productively and collaboratively. Our San Francisco HQ is located in the Financial District, a block from the Montgomery Street Muni & Bart station.
