About The Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (official title: "Client Strategy Manager") to join our team and support our growing client base in making better investment decisions. Our goal is to be a research partner with our clients, almost an extension of their team. We do this being experts on our products and the associated investment narratives, understanding exactly what names our clients currently care about and why, then providing proactive engagement and real-time responses to ensure we're answering their key questions and maximizing value from our product offering.

This a hybrid-friendly opportunity that sits in NYC (where our headquarter is located)

As a Strategic Account Manager at YipitData:

  • You will own and cultivate relationships with your clients by:
    • Finding new and creative ways to demonstrate value and grow user engagement
    • Advocating for client needs cross-departmentally
    • Becoming a trusted resource for our clients
    • Identifying and/or developing upsell opportunities
  • You will contribute to building best-in-class practices within the Strategic Account team to be shared with current and future members

You are likely to succeed if:

  • You have minimum 3+ year of relevant client facing experience
  • You are excited by contributing to the future of data-driven investment research
  • You understand the needs of investment professionals
  • You are eager to think strategically about growing revenue through proactive client interactions
  • You are able to effectively communicate complex ideas to a wide range of audiences
  • You are creative and empathetic in building consensus across decision makers
  • You are a master of judgment when handling a wide variety of client situations

  • The annual on-target earnings for this position is anticipated to be $110K base salary + $20K gross retention bonus + 3% Net ARR bonus for Client Strategy Manager Level I. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. The compensation package also includes equity.
