Strategic Account Manager Career duties:

  • Drive strategic account direction, standardization of processes, and continuous improvement for unique and significant customers.
  • Provide business driven insights through proactive analysis of essential supply chain processes, data, and key performance indicators
  • Develop multi-level relationships within customer’s organization and be trusted advisor on a variety of needs.
  • Define customer needs, establish the best method to deliver needed solution, and work across functional departments to achieve the desired result.
  • Provide continuous coaching to team members responsible for the daily account activities.
  • Suggest system developments that lead to improved supply chain visibility and customer experience.

Requirements for role:

  • 4 years previous work with large companies’ needs, functionalities, operations, logistics.
  • Management experience working closely with and leading groups/teams external and internal.
  • Extremely effective oral and written communication in English
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed challenges.
  • Must be able to navigate from items that require great attention to detail to items that require more innovative and strategic thinking.
  • Well organized and highly disciplined in time management
  • 3PL/4PL work experience, comprehension, and/or management.
  • Travel Required: estimated 6 times a year.
