Why we need you
Given how rapidly Middesk has scaled recently we’ve noticed that there is no single owner for many things related to company cadence, coordinating company meetings/events, and disseminating relevant communications following
We see this hire as an opportunity to alleviate some of the strain on the leadership to complete more administrative tasks like scheduling and documentation
We’re excited for someone to come in with a perspective on how a company like Middesk should operate from a company cadence and communication perspective. This person should not be afraid to take a critical look at how we operate and share their observations along with ideas for how to improve
(Some of) What you'll achieve
Facilitate a healthy company rhythm via organizing and tracking all types of collaboration from executive and leadership meetings to company-wide all hands
Enable information to be shared up/down/across the organization through various channels
Increase efficiency via time management best-practices, especially around coordination/scheduling across the executive level
Write company announcements and board updates
Ensure that various strategic initiatives and discussions are on track and that the loop is closed when necessary via circulating notes, documenting next steps, and ensuring that decisions are captured and disseminated
Manage the end-to-end coordination of monthly leadership off-sites and the subsequent communication to the broader company
What you’ve accomplished
3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-growing high tech environment in an EA or Chief-of-Staff type role
Strong communicator, written and verbal with clear examples of communications that they’ve managed that have lead to the desired outcome
Skilled at visual forms of communication such as presentation decks; can represent information in creative, compelling, and accurate ways
Previous experience reporting to CEO or other sr. leader at growth stage company
