We are seeking a Strategic Sales Director that is experienced, accountable, detailed oriented, responsive and passionate to partner with Sales Realization & Product Team(s) to manage an end to end Sales cycle for new client strategic sales pursuits. The Sales Director is responsible for understanding the current state of a clients business and strategic initiatives and then mapping Synchronoss product & services to those strategic initiatives to deliver client required business outcomes. The Sales Director is also responsible for communicating our value proposition and business outcomes to the various buying roles within a clients organization. The Sales Director will maintain accurate sales pipeline data and sales plans in order to achieve quarterly sales objectives. Sales Director will work with Sales Realization, Product Management, Product & Service Delivery, Finance, Business Operations, Legal, to manage a sales cycle from initial contact through contraction signature.
How you will help::
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Synchronoss Products & Services as well as knowledge of competitive offers in the marketplace
  • Update & Maintain Accurate Sales Pipeline through various stages of sales cycle adhering to internal processes and procedures
  • Qualified Sales opportunities for decision making process, criteria & timeline
  • Develop, maintain, readout on Pipeline development and maintain Sales Opportunity Close Plans that clients are committed to in order to achieve contract closure and ultimately map to client delivery timeline & business outcomes.
  • Create & manage relationship peering matrix that mapping client organization to appropriate Synchronoss peers
  • Create and deliver presentations to all levels of a client Organization including C-Level Executives
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Synchronoss products & services.
  • Maintain confidentiality & integrity when working with our clients
  • Partner with clients on business case development, go to market activities, channel requirements in order to ensure successful business case ROI and business outcomes are defined and measurable.
  • Successfully manage identify opportunities within organizations from qualification to close
  • Creatively navigate organizations adding value while building business cases and use case examples illustrating ROI to drive opportunities
  • Recognize early and overcome any and all potential business objections in the decision making process.
  • Collaborate with sales realization & product management to accurately present our product & service capabilities in the context of client needs.
  • Partner with internal organization(s) to understand client budget needs and provide inputs to build a financial model that ties to customer required business outcomes and internal financial objectives.
Who we have in mind::
  • 7+ years of professional experience, ideally in an enterprise software selling role in Subscription License | SaaS software models.
  • Experience in the enterprise software industry with a focus on Fiber network planning and management - such as 3-GIS, IQGeo, Bentley, Schneider, Netcracker, etc.
  • A passionate self-starter, creative, high energy, and comfortable developing and executing a sales strategy
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with Executive presence and confident objection handling.
  • Ability to create impactful business cases with compelling storytelling and visual design elements.
  • Must work well with client & internal organizational stakeholders
  • Proven ability to exceed
It would be great if you had::
  • Experience in selling software to carriers, managed service providers, technology and media companies
  • Great attitude, diplomatic, great listener
  • Demonstrated success selling enterprise software inside TMT
  • Strong experience working to understand and guide the customer’s thinking to quickly gain credibility and trust
  • A career of building strong relationships based on understanding a clients business needs and objectives and delivering propositions that deliver desired business outcomes.
  • 4 Year College Degree, preferably Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce
