Recruiting Coordinator (Contract 6 months)
This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you own and schedule for multiple positions within a given vertical.
This person will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possessgreat communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, love tackling projects, and want to grow with our team. Responsible for partnering with individual managers to ensure delivery of all recruiting aspects. You are responsible for carrying various roles on your respective teams and manage all stages of the hiring process to ensure a unique and positive candidate experience.
In addition to your core duties as a Recruiting Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling all onsite interviews for the entire recruiting team and subsequent interview meetings and roundtables.
This position is a hybrid role, 2 days of remote and 3 days in-office per week, situated in our New York City office. Remote work is not available for this position.
What You'll Do- Coordination and Scheduling: Manage the interview scheduling process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to align schedules and book interview rooms or virtual meeting spaces.
- Candidate Communication: Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing information on interview logistics, timelines, and next steps. Serve as a point of contact for candidates, addressing inquiries and providing a positive candidate experience.
- ATS Management: Utilize and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate progress, update candidate statuses, and generate reports as needed. Ensure data accuracy in the ATS and assist in improving system efficiency.
- Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and coordinating orientation schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the recruitment and onboarding processes. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the recruiting coordination function.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs and priorities. Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to talent acquisition.
- Candidate Experience Enhancement: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the overall candidate experience. Collect and analyze feedback from candidates to identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the recruitment process.
What You've Done- Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Efficient time management to meet tight deadlines.
- Precision in managing candidate data and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Thoroughness in screening resumes and coordinating interview schedules.
