The University of New Mexico Gallup (UNM Gallup) is one of four branch community colleges of the University and serves approximately 2,000 students. Located near the Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi Reservations, this campus has one of the largest percentage Native American student body of any public university campus in the world. UNM Gallup is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, offering Associate degrees and Career Technical certificate programs, adult basic education (ABE and GED), workforce training, and personal enrichment courses. There are approximately 57 part-time and 54 full-time faculty members.
The UNM Gallup Branch, Student Affairs Department, invites applications for a full-time twelve (12) month staff position as Student Success Specialist.
In support of the University's enrollment, retention and graduation goals, provides integrated support for a student success program aimed at supporting students with specific needs to navigate and succeed within higher education. Assists higher-level student success personnel in the development and delivery of outreach and retention programs. Receives guidance, training, and mentorship from higher-level personnel as it relates to understanding and meeting the unique needs of the population of interest.

Bachelor's degree; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
