Duration:25th Aug.2023 to 31st May.2024

Location:AT Nantong CMHI

• Under general supervision, leads individuals engaged in and actively participates in the performance of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work.
• Qualifies suppliers, issues requests for proposals, performs proposal evaluations, and maintains subcontract files in accordance with established procedures.
• Job role contributes directly to value creation.
• Responsible for the administration of the Project subcontract:
• Prepare with support of other department when appropriate, all correspondences to the Subcontractor and answer each and every correspondence from Subcontractor, seek advice to Lead Subcontract Administrator or Subcontract Manager when appropriate.
• Ensure that all contractual obligations stipulated in the subcontract are complied with by each party.
• Apply all subcontract administration procedures
• Monitor and expedite as necessary, Subcontractor administration submittals
• Negotiate each Variation Order issue to or from Subcontractor in timely manners, in line with the contractual requirement
• Study all justifications given by Subcontractor for any Variation Request or Claim
• Prepare amendments, Work Orders, Variation Requests and final settlement of the subcontract
• Maintain all required logs (in particular correspondence, Variation Requests, Site Instructions, Backcharges, Insurances, …) Prepare and issue out going letters and minutes of meeting
• Follow-up action on all in coming letters and any subcontract minutes of meeting
• Formalise resolution of dispute or disagreement and reservation from parties in order to ensure contractual protection to Project
• Ensure that proper paper and electronic filing of subcontract administration is done
• Raise any commercial, contractual or others risk which could affect subcontract cost
• Ensure timely treatment of Subcontractor Invoices
• Review Subcontractor Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports, identify any in consistencies in content and address any areas of concern raised by Subcontractor
• Prepare the Notices of Default and Notices of Backcharge
• Manage and administer effective Subcontract Close Out
• Provide Feedback on subcontract administration

Requirement:

• 10 years experience in subcontract management (post award) in offshore Oil & Gas industry
• 5 years experience with yard fabrication subcontracts
• 5 years experience with EPC contractor (Technip, Saipem, KBR, McDermott, Subsea 7, Modec, MISC, Yinson, Bluewater, BW, …)
• Previous experience overseas and in China
• Preferably FPSO experience
• Mobile on single status
