Senior Site Reliability Engineer I, Core SRE
Sumo Logic is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own availability and continually improve operational excellence of their observability and security products. The role involves optimizing operations, increasing efficiency, hardening security, and collaborating with multiple teams.
Skills
- Cloud native application development
- Debugging and trouble-shooting skills
- AWS Networking, Compute, Storage
- CI/CD tooling like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible & Jenkins
- Experience with Linux systems
- Modern approaches to cloud-native software security
- Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
Responsibilities
- Improve the lifecycle of microservices and architectural components
- Define and manage SLOs
- Write code and automation to reduce operational workload
- Facilitate blame-free root cause analysis meetings
- Drive root cause identification and issue resolution
- Participate in incident response coordination
- Operate within agile frameworks to deliver value
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
