SuperSeed is a leading early-stage B2B SaaS venture capital firm based in London. We invest in world-class industrial B2B SaaS AI startups at an early stage, and help Founders de-risk their journey to their first million, to Series A, and beyond. 

We’re a team of entrepreneurs investing in entrepreneurs. With eight successful exits as entrepreneurs and investors, and having sold millions in contract value globally, we use our real-world experience to source, select and support our portfolio companies and add value beyond the capital we invest. 

Enter the Talent team. We play a core role at SuperSeed. Alongside SuperSeed’s Investment team, we work with our portfolio company Founders to attract, onboard and retain the top 1% of talent into their early-stage teams. We do this via advisory work and running end-to-end searches across a variety of different GTM & technical roles and seniority levels. Less than 3% of funds at our stage have a Talent team, but we recognise the huge part Talent plays in building startups. We’ve built a talent model that sets us apart from other VC’s, and sets our Founders up for success. With the value of our model proven, we’re now investing in growing our Talent team further.

The Opportunity: Your mission is to source the top 1% of talent for our portfolio companies,  build talent pipelines for current and future headcount needs as our PortCo’s grow, and to provide talent intelligence data internally, and to our Founders.

We are looking for an exceptional Talent Sourcing & Intelligence Partner with world-class sourcing capabilities, talent mapping and talent intelligence skills to work in alignment with the Head of Talent and build our early-stage teams. If you’re a fast learner, hard working, dynamic, competitive and ambitious - this is the role for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Source top talent: Using your toolbox of sourcing methodologies and LinkedIn Recruiter,  you will source, identify and approach the best talent for our portfolio companies. You’ll conduct first-stage interviews, build and nurture relationships with top talent over time, and make introductions to our Founders. You will own the front end of the recruitment process and build our sourcing model.
  • Talent Pipeline: Identify, interview and pipeline top candidates for live roles and future state teams.
  • Map the Market: You’ll know what’s happening in Industry 4.0 and share information to the benefit of our portfolio companies. You know who's hiring, who's firing, where the top talent is. You’re one step ahead of what’s happening on the ground.
  • Provide Data Insights: Keep Investors and Talent team up to date with data insights on competitors, and share recruitment activity-related data to our Founders. You’ll be a Talent data advocate and will support our portfolio Founders to set recruitment data best practices early in their growth journey.
  • Run end to end processes: At times when we’re busy, you’ll run your own end-to-end processes with support from the Head of Talent. This must be something you’re energised to do. 
  • Be Founder facing: Our Founders are our stakeholders. There is no margin for error, the information and candidates we provide at early-stage investment must be accurate, informative and be growth-oriented. We offer a white-glove experience to our Founders, and we have a responsibility to get it right!

Who you are:

  • A Sourcing Pro: You’ve sourced for a variety of Snr Commercial (VP, CRO, Snr AE etc), GTM and Tech roles before. Ideally within an Exec Search firm or fast-growing startups, and have found the best candidates in places that have even surprised you. 
  • Have a high talent bar: You know top talent when you see it, and you know how to engage them and deliver a white-glove candidate experience.
  • Tech savvy: You love technology and the impact AI is having on our world. You know your way around a Mac, are a Slack pro, and speak fluently about LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proactive: You go above and beyond to anticipate hiring needs. You’re a natural researcher, and will deeply understand the needs of our portfolio companies and find winning CV’s at pace.
  • You balance speed and precision: You thrive under pressure, you love working fast, and you’re precise and proud of the work you deliver.
  • Adaptable: You’re excellent and juggling multiple tasks at any one time, and know how to prioritise effectively.
  • Commercially minded: You’re commercially minded, and understand how to align sourcing and recruiting activity to meet business objectives.
  • Data-driven: You’re data-centric, and bring a data-first approach to your work.
  • Ambitious, hungry, competitive: You want our portfolio companies to have the best talent, and you want them to win.

Bonus points if:

  • You've sourced into Fintech/Manufacturing/Construction SaaS companies before
  • You've sourced top engineering talent and have built talent pipelines across Front/Back End eng roles
