YOU ARE: An individual who will be responsible for being thoroughly knowledgeable of all site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response protocols. The Workplace Security Supervisor (WPS Supervisor) will supervise the Workplace Security team at an assigned corporate office. The WPS Supervisor is the direct leadership position of our Workplace Security team. This role will be conducting monthly security officer evaluations, following up on incident reports and tracking weekly training. This role will work with the Workplace Security Manager (WPS Manager) to budget, plan and innovate the safety and security of our building, employees and visitors. Maintaining a responsive, trained and motivated Workplace Security team is a priority in this position.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

Supervise Security Team at assigned corporate office, including

Ensure accurate timekeeping records are being kept
- Responsibilities, duties and/or behavioral coaching

Provides back up security officer coverage, as needed

Work with security intergrader at assigned site

- Maintenance

- Programing

Conduct annual performance evaluations for each Workplace Security team member

Collaborate with WPS Manager for security upgrades, subscriptions, and budgets.

- Verifies contact security coverage weekly

Monitor new contract officers on first day of contract work

YOU’LL BRING:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
3 to 5 years physical security experience
-
Prior experience leading a physical security team
-
At least 21 years of age
-
The ability to operate and manage CCTV systems, and Access Control Systems
- Demonstrated ability assessing, evaluating and identifying critical issues or situations quickly and responding effectively or escalate accordingly

Excellent customer-oriented attitude

Effective oral and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Basic computer skills, including; Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
- Security professional certification a plus - CPP, PSP or other
