The role


As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will have an opportunity to be a part of the Operational Procurement team where you will help support the delivery of critical packages to our customer the Royal Navy.


Day to day, you will support the sourcing of goods and services, expediting orders, coordinating project requirements and developing key relationships with our internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Managing supplier order books and communicating with suppliers for pricing
  • Coordination with operational procurement team to ensure project requirements are executed on time
  • Data entry and raising and placing purchase orders within an agreed limit of spend
  • Managing system dates to ensure project timelines are met


Essential experience of the Supply Chain Administrator


  • Experience or working within a fast-paced administrational role within a large organisation
  • IT literate and experience of working with Microsoft Packages, including Excel
  • Good communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills with the ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders across the business and our supply chain
  • Proactive and good planning and organisations skills

Qualifications for the Supply Chain Administrator


  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or GCSE passes in Mathematics and English Language at Grade “C” / 5 or higher

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
