This is a non-represented management position.Position will be posted until filled.Candidates will be reviewed on March 13, 2023 Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applications for the position of Systems Analyst- Application Developer (Manager 180) in Information Technology (IT) Services (www.iup.edu/ITSupportCenter). This position's typical responsibilities include participation in the analysis, selection, design, development, implementation, documentation, administration, maintenance and support of a variety of information technology systems and services. Other responsibilities include researching and resolving information technology problems and issues directed to the IT Support Center. This position works closely with other units to provide production support for all information systems.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree andTwo (2) years of system administration experience. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field can substitute for 18 months of experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field Preference will be given to candidates who possess skills and experience in a systems and network administration environment, including some of the following: Background and experience building secure multi-user systems;Background in Linux and/or Windows System Administration using standard utilities for automation of tasks;Experience configuring web services including Apache httpd and Tomcat in a secure fashion, Microsoft IIS;Experience with networking technologies;Experience automating system administration tasks using scripting tools;Experience with backup and data recovery systems;Knowledge of network storage systems; andAbility to work in a team-based environmentCandidates must have the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members. Candidates must communicate effectively and perform well in interview(s).
