About the role
Taktile is a high-growth, post product-market-fit start-up, on a fast trajectory to becoming market leader in the field of automated decisioning. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team on the journey of building our decisioning products! If you are passionate about building technical products, have gathered experience working with AWS, Python, SQL, ideally at scale, and enjoy woking as part of an awesome team that empowers you to grow, then this position is perfect for you!
What You'll Do
Primarily work on backend and utility components written in Python / FastAPI, hosted on an AWS serverless architecture: Maintain the code, give in-depth reviews of pull requests and improve the component's CI/CD.
Engage actively in team rituals such as daily sync, planning sessions, demos, and technical deep-dive discussions.
Grow as an individual and maximize your career progression by learning from our experienced team, as well as joining our cross-team learning groups.
Requirements:
Taktile is a hybrid company with options to work from either our Berlin HQ in Germany or the lasi Hub in Romania. Taktile will not cover relocation services for this role.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a remote environment requiring clear and effective communication.
Ideal, But Not Required
DynamoDB/Postgres/Pydantic/AWS Lambda/SQLAlchemy
Prior experience with high throughput data streaming architectures.
Required Experience
Prior industry experience with Python backend. At least one prior work experience is required - this is not an entry-level position.
Experience with databases and AWS services
Proficient in RESTful API development and management.
