Our story

As a Talent Partner at Just Eat for Business, you will be working in a fast paced and growing team, with a passion for food as well as technology. You will be responsible for the Talent function in the business and play a critical role in bringing hungry, driven and passionate talent into the Just Eat for Business Family!
All about the role
We are looking for a driven individual with 3+ years experience in a Talent / Recruitment lead role, who has the ability to map out hungry, ambitious and passionate talent within target companies, markets and relevant industries. As a Talent Partner, you will lead on initiating workforce planning with key stakeholders in the business, and work closely with hiring teams to ensure role pipelines are strong, and candidates are offered a best-in-class candidate experience from start to finish. You will be sourcing, screening and leveraging talent in the recruitment process and will have a clear understanding of our current talent metrics (diversity and inclusion in our talent pools, time to hire targets etc) and provide regular updates to the senior management team. You will partner with JET's brilliant Learning team to promote Group learning and development initiatives at Just Eat for Business. You will be managing our People and Talent Associate, and supporting them with interview SLA's, onboarding experiences and any hiring queries that arise. We want an enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive team player to join our small (but strong) People and Talent Team, who is also excited about leading on an employer branding and employee value proposition project, kicking off in the New Year!
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to:

  • Proactively managing the end-to-end recruitment of the best talent across our amazing teams, with a particular focus on Engineering, Product and Commercial teams
  • Ensure you are providing a best-in-class candidate experience - always.
  • Manage, empower and nurture our People and Talent Associate
  • Lead on delivering Just Eat for Business' Employee value proposition and Employer branding project in 2022
  • Partner with Just Eat Takeaways learning & development function to ensure our team has full visibility and are able to utilise a best-in-class L&D program
  • Conduct research to map out talent within target companies, markets, and relevant industries
  • Leverage your network to identify, attract and engage great talent in-line with our hiring plan
  • Understanding workforce planning and resource forecasting by working with the hiring teams and Exec, to feed into recruitment timelines
  • Show a clear passion for inclusion, diversity and belonging throughout the hiring process and within all of our employee experiences
  • Responsible for accurately reporting key Talent metrics to senior leadership including (but not limited to) hiring, retention & inclusion, diversity and belonging, whilst ensuring the Talent team embraces a data-driven approach strategic deliverables

Can you deliver…
Here are the skills and experience we need from you:

  • You will have 3+years end to end talent acquisition experience, ideally within the technology start-up or scale-up space
  • Working across a variety of roles at any one time; specifically in the tech, product and commercial space
  • Proven track record of identifying challenges, providing solutions and proactively implementing solutions
  • Demonstrable experience of leading, mentoring or managing people in any capacity, ideally within Talent Management, People Operations or Talent Acquisition
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, adept at balancing strategic thinking and a busy working environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and always using your initiative to make our hiring processes and decision making better
  • You have a demonstrated ‘expert' understanding of directly sourcing top-tier talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches and other platforms
  • You are a fantastic communicator! You enjoy sharing updates with the People and Talent team, and always looking to develop ‘greatness' in your work
  • You have empathy and compassion, and love connecting and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Super organised and have a great approach to prioritising key items or workload for you and your team
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with an ATS and HRIS, proficient using Workday desirable

Salary: £55,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
