TCHP IMPLEMENTATION COORDINATOR

This position will be scheduled approximately 40 hours per week at our Central Business Office located at 2100 Sherman Ave, Norwood, OH, 45212.

The implementation Coordinator will be responsible for leading the implementation of various business solutions within The Christ Hospital Physicians(TCHP). Working with other team members, this position will have primary responsibility for executing optimization strategies within the physician offices related to various regulatory, operational, clinical and system-based initiatives.

The Implementation Coordinator will be required to work efficiently and effectively, making efficient use of time; set and maintain priorities for his/her own work; will plan own work and schedules activities so that deadlines and objectives are met. This position will be required to balance time and attention given to multiple demands and competing priorities; will attend to details while remaining focused on the big picture; and will apply and enforce effective meeting norms; evaluate current methods and constantly looks for new and better ways of doing things.

It will be critical for the Implementation Coordinator to build relationships and support teamwork. He/she must relate to all people in an open, friendly and accepting manner, showing sincere interest in others and their concerns to achieve common goals. He/she will also consider the capabilities of others when working together, play different roles based on the needs of the practices and encourage team members to collaborate in shaping plans and decisions that affect them.

This position must demonstrate openness and adaptability to change by adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, change and unexpected events. He/she must remain calm and even-tempered in high pressure circumstances; maintain composure in face of criticism, conflict or hostility; and projects a positive and cheerful outlook.




Project Management and Facilitation

  • Leads or facilitates clinical quality, performance improvement and/or patient safety teams
  • Ensures that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budget constraints
  • Acts as a change agent to promote the development and integration of systems thinking and the use of improvement tools and methods in interdisciplinary or departmental teams.
  • Coordinates multi-media presentations to communicate Process Improvement and patient safety activities, team activities and achievements.
  • Coordinates rewards and recognition of teams and achievements.

Analysis and Implementation

  • Assists with the development of and facilitates the process improvement plans and actions for The Christ Hospital Physicians.
  • Assists in defining and documenting business requirements related to new initiatives and/or
  • Facilitate, interview, and observe groups/individuals to document processes flows, SOPs, and work instructions
  • Presents, benchmarks and flowcharts new processes.
  • Assures processes are sound.

Develops necessary subject matter expertise

  • Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of the functionality and administration of the practice management and electronic health record systems (and other practice-based systems) to assist in process improvement and implementation projects
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of Medical Group Practice Management including basic clinical practices, business processes and other industry knowledge
  • Maintain an understanding of project management and quality disciplines to develop and maintain implementation materials (i.e., issue logs, timelines, etc.)
  • Participates with various improvement teams as needed
  • Assists in the planning and delivery of communication material on an as needed basis.

Training and Development

  • Utilize knowledge of processes, best practices, and software to participate in the development and delivery of training on new initiatives
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the functionality and administration of the practice management and electronic health record systems (and other practice-based systems) to assist in the training and implementation of these tools within client offices
  • Executes plans to deliver messages for staff roll-out and training
  • Works with team to understand system upgrades and help facilitate training around new requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, health care management, or business management preferred.


YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of 5 years health care experience, preferrably in an ambulatory physician setting with project management and training experience.
