The Team:

The Recruiting team at Datadog is responsible for scaling the growth of our company size. Our recruiters are strategic business partners, matchmakers, sellers and marketeers, all wrapped into one. We contribute to the bottom line and have high visibility to leadership teams as we partner with our business leaders on building out our teams with top talent within multiple business areas. You will have the opportunity to shape, mold, and impact how fast we grow, the way we’re viewed, and the candidate experience. 

The Opportunity:

Datadog is ramping up for another BIG hiring year and expanding our Recruiting team to support our growth. We are looking for someone who is passionate about operational efficiency and developing early career talent, as a Lead of Recruiting Coordination in North America! This role will lead a global team of recruiting coordinators who will optimize our hiring process and take our candidate experience to the next level. In this position, you’ll work closely with the Recruiting Leaders and Recruiting Operations team to ensure success and consistency in process, progress, and service levels. 

You Will:  

  • Lead and mentor a team of coordinators while maintaining a high bar for the level of service provided to our internal and external clients, scheduling interviews when needed
  • Optimize the effectiveness of recruiting as an operation and drive consistency across the board
  • Provide development opportunities and performance feedback for direct reports
  • Ensure team receives growth opportunities via project and sourcing collaboration with recruiting teams / Develop and coach on sourcing and LinkedIn recruiter skills
  • Recommend and implement improvements to hiring process and Greenhouse ATS workflow both for internal partners and candidates
  • Drive cross-functional projects by facilitating communication, coordination, planning and execution across the recruiting team and internal stakeholders
  • Use data to define program success metrics and inform strategic decisions
  • Work on projects such Greenhouse and recruiting operations projects, data cleanliness audits, candidate survey results, etc.

You Are:  

  • Experienced in 5+ years of combined business experience, with 2+ years in recruiting operations, recruiting, or recruiting coordination 
  • Passionate about coaching others with 1+ years of experience managing a team
  • Deep understanding of recruiting lifecycle and tooling
  • Confident navigating and creating processes within applicant tracking systems  
  • Able to own and drive projects to completion; A creative thinker and problem solver 
  • Comfortable working in a high scale and fast-paced environment
  • A strong multitasker, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working autonomously and navigate ambiguity with ease
  • Experienced in building and scaling candidate, interviewer, and coordination programs
  • Able to use data and analytics to develop insights and influence decisions
