JOB DESCRIPTION
The Technical Project Manager at Abstrakt Marketing Group is responsible for managing all projects and initiatives for a specific product/department within the organization. This individual will be responsible for planning and developing the project idea, overseeing budget and resources, leading the technical team through the execution roll-out and adoption of each project within the department. They will use cross functional teams to deliver project requirements and meet the company’s strategic objectives in the expected deadline, while also monitoring progress during and after roll-out/deployment. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Product & Data, this individual will help identify department and product specific goals and define ways of achieving those goals.
The ideal Technical Project Manager is extremely organized, has strong time management skills, and strategically prioritizes tasks with department initiatives and product plan. They should be able to self-manage and communicate effectively with team members across various departments and department heads. They will ultimately help us improve our processes and efficiencies by overseeing and ensuring organizational objectives are achieved.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures projects (including department specific reporting) are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining proper project documentation and reporting through Abstrakt Marketing Group’s project management tool and CRM.
Assists department heads with the planning and monitoring of project timelines and scope.
Ensures all deliverables meet Abstrakt Marketing Group quality standards and client expectations within reasonable scope limits.
Manages the relationship with employees and stakeholders through digital, phone, and in-person communication, including hosting meetings.
Manages project risks, issues, and roadblocks, including escalation when necessary. This includes bugs/errors/issues associated to projects during and after roll-out has been completed.
Uses and continually develops leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Assists in the development and continual improvement of product processes and documentation.
Assists in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and acquiring resources as needed.
Contributes to team culture through engagement and positive demeanor and constructively challenges status quo when appropriate.
Assists with training and/or cross training new and existing team members as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Certifications: CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, SCRUM Certified, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as marketing or communications
The ability to execute reporting builds & edits in Salesforce.
Experience using Aprika Mission Control, Jira, and/or Salesforce is a plus
Account management, data analyst, business analyst, or sales experience
Sense of urgency to drive and deliver projects and deliverables on time and within client criteria
