Technical Project Manager Location: Kennesaw, GA - hybrid after training remote Monday and Friday
$75,000-85,000 plus bonus UP to 2 months’ salary bonus (12,500-14,000)
Ability to travel 10% + travel to Finland for 2 weeks of training
SUMMARY: The Project Manager is a key member of the Calibration Solution Group and is responsible for leading and managing a team of professional services consultants to deliver high-quality consulting services to clients. The role involves the implementation of project methodologies and processes, the management of projects, and the negotiation of client expectations.
The team leader is also responsible for mentoring and developing the skills of team members, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Day-to-day activities also include planning, oversee and documenting all aspects of specific projects. Prepare status reports and effective project communication plans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-
- Leading and managing a team of expert services specialists.
- Evaluating and managing the performance of team members.
- Demonstrating technical expertise in IT solutions and related technologies.
- Actively participating in the design and implementation of client-specific solutions.
- Providing on-site support for client projects, ensuring successful implementation and resolution of issues.
- Conducting hands-on training and workshops for clients and team members to enhance their understanding of calibration solutions.
- Collaborating with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop scope of work.
QUALIFICATIONS-
- Strong PM SKILLS in a technical environment
- Ability to travel to Finland for training and travel 10% valid passport
- Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration.
- Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
- Deep understanding of expert services and the calibration and/or consulting industry.
- Providing project services to clients by implementing calibration solutions to address client needs.
- Ensuring successful delivery of projects to clients by leading and managing a project from initiation to closure.
