Product Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Analyst at Teikametrics will partner with Product and Engineering teams to analyze data, develop dashboards, and provide actionable insights to optimize product performance and user experience. The ideal candidate will apply SQL, Python, and data visualization tools to track and evaluate key product metrics.


HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering) to understand business and data requirements and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and Looker to track product performance, user behavior, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key product metrics.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and ad-hoc queries to support product feature development, experiments, and optimization efforts.
  • Partner with product teams to define KPIs, measure success, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data, and communicate findings through clear, concise visualizations and presentations.
  • Work on product feature evaluations, and assess the impact of new features or updates on user behavior.


WHO YOU ARE
  • 2-4 years of experience in a product or data analytics role, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Skilled in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation of data workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Looker, or similar (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Familiarity with product analytics frameworks.
  • A solid understanding of key product metrics such as user engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
  • Experience working with large datasets, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with data science techniques and predictive modeling.
