Job Title: Field Engineer (Outside Plant) Description: We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer with expertise in outside plant design. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing outside plant work orders and providing both administrative and field support throughout the provisioning process. This role requires the use of your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursed at $0.65 per mile.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct site surveys and IFP long haul fielding.• Design outside plant work orders and prepare associated drawings and documentation.• Provide administrative and field support for outside plant projects.• Ensure compliance with all municipal and governmental requirements.• Prepare work order estimates and manage expenditures.• Obtain necessary permits for project execution.• Utilize facility analysis processes to identify areas for rehabilitation.• Coordinate and oversee field work.• Analyze reports and provide insights.Required Skills:• Field engineering• Outside plant design• IQ GEO• Ike• GIS• Surveying• Drafting/design• PermittingTop Skills:• Field engineering• Outside plant design• IQ GEO• IkeAdditional Skills & Qualifications:• 2-5 years of experience in fielding for outside plant projects.• Experience with site surveys.• Knowledge of telephone industry standards.• Ability to read and interpret mechanized assignment records, PC applications, and OSP records.• Understanding of infrastructure plans (highway, sewer, bridge, etc.).• Experience with ATT and knowledge of BTS/Aramis is a significant advantage.• Familiarity with various communications outside plant engineering concepts.Experience Level:• Intermediate LevelPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
