Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr. Total Rewards Analyst  to join our growing team. Reporting to the   SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, the Sr. Total Rewards Analyst will be  responsible for providing strategic analysis and assisting with the design, implementation, and administration of total rewards (compensation, benefits, systems) programs for all new hires and internal employees. This role will support creating and driving the strategy, policy, and programs spanning all areas of compensation, benefits, and equity to ensure pay practices are fair, equitable, and competitive to attract and retain the best talent.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultant to the Human Resources (HR) team and business leadership to support their decision-making for hiring, promotions, specific organizational initiatives, and annual compensation programs
  • Conduct research, quantitative analysis, data modeling, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand trends to drive strategic decisions around people
  • Develop compensation programs such as job levels, salary structures, and recognition programs
  • Aggregate data to participate in compensation surveys
  • Develop and implement communication and training for compensation programs for recruiters, human resources professionals, and managers to promote understanding and transparency
  • Research and provide recommendations for benefits and recognition programs
  • Assist with the development of a comprehensive total rewards strategy
  • Collaborate with IT on process improvements and systems enhancements
  • Collaborate with finance on budgeting, billing, and benefits administration
  • Provide analytical support for total rewards compliance requirements
  • Review and approve compensation requests as needed
  • Develop presentations and provide recommendations to leadership

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, economics, or finance
  • 8+ years of professional experience in compensation analysis and administration
  • Experience leading internal and external market analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience building models and analyses

Additional Differentiators

  • Experience working in the aerospace, space manufacturing industry
  • Experience working with Paychex HRIS
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to present to a variety of team members
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations
  • Complex understanding of compensation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong consultative skills and highly effective in communicating clearly and persuasively with excellent influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using best practices, and knowledge of internal and external business issues to provide a new perspective on existing solutions or create new solutions
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
