Summary:

Pierre Fabre USA is now seeking Salon Territory Manager responsible for sales and promotion of the Rene Furterer brand with main responsibility for achieving sales targets for salon accounts. Territory managers establish, maintain, and develop business through:

Growing existing salon accounts and opening new KOL salon accounts within the assigned territory by building relationships with salon owners and staff, focusing on sell-out opportunities and activations, business planning with top customers, providing education in collaboration with education managers and actively executing the established new business process and others as necessary to achieve salon targets;

Essential Functions:

Achieve and/or exceed sales objectives and goals:

  • Sell-in and Sell-out of Rene Furterer in Salons

Territory Management/Account Management:

  • Independently develop strategic territory plan and routing to meet/exceed objectives, with associated follow-up on reasonable customer requests.
  • Manage account orders, submitting orders into CRM system.
  • Record call activities information and customer history daily in CRM.
  • Manage territory and personal administrative tasks such as Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expense reports, weekly activity readouts, customer information, and territory budgets.
  • Responsible for ordering, receiving, and organizing product samples and literature within storage facility unit.
  • Other duties as needed by the business

Relationship-Building:

  • Develop and build long-term business relationships with salon within the assigned territory, while maintaining detailed records.
  • Establish and/or maintain effective partnership with Region Managers, Region colleagues, Pierre Fabre Sales & Education colleagues, and other department colleagues including but not limited to marketing.

Product/Industry Knowledge:

  • Responsible for learning and maintaining extensive knowledge of product lines through reading and analyzing promotional material, technical literature, current industry trends, and attending events, Regional, and National meetings.
  • Monitor and report Pierre Fabre brands and competitive intelligence.
  • Other duties as requested by the business.
  • Must follow all legal, regulatory, and company guidelines and policies.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel for sales meetings (4x per year), regional customer meetings, and within sales territory where required.
  • Ability to work weekends, as needed, based on needs of the business.
  • Ability to travel overnight.

Required Education, Competencies, and Experience:

  • 4-year college degree preferred.
  • 2 years of salon, and B2B sales experience in prestige and/or professional beauty preferred.

Results-focused:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Keen analytical sense and ability to understand financial concepts.
  • Excellent selling and presentation skills.

Strong Business Acumen:

  • Ability to self-manage and work autonomously.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to swiftly adapt to a changing environment to meet unexpected demands effectively.

Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills:

  • Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel. PowerPoint and Outlook) and use of CRM systems.
  • Proven presentation skills with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Employees who do not qualify for a corporate credit card for any reason will be expected to cover the cost of their travel & expenses and submit for reimbursement.

Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:

  • Responsible for lifting product samples and literature within storage facility unit, lifting, and managing samples and literature from storage facilities to car trunk and from car trunk to customer's office, up to 25lbs per box/package.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computer, iPad, cell phone, and printer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
