We serve customers in industries spanning aerospace and defense, specialized vehicles, turf care and fuel systems.This role is within Textron System’s Electronic Systems, Test & Training business located in Goose Creek, South Carolina.Visit TextronSystems.com & Lycoming.com to read more about who we are and the products we make\!About This RoleThe successful candidate will have the ability to work within a diverse, multifunctional team and, under the supervision of a senior program manager or program director have the responsibilities not limited to the following:• Managing the Financial, Technical, and Schedule requirements of program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable in a cost-effective manner.• Perform Control Account Manager responsibilities for program management budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and determine variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates and Estimate at Complete analysis, and sales forecast update.• Follow management program processes, plans and procedures to ensure program executes based on AS9100 Quality certification requirements and Textron best practices.• Organize Program Management Execution Gates for leadership review and approval.• Assist with proposal generation and submittal to the customer.• Work closely with program schedulers to understand the IMS and all the inputs required to manage/update the IMS monthly.• Interface with suppliers and Textron Systems Procurement organization to communicate program updates/changes to and from the supplier.• Assist with internal and external program communications.• Problem solving; Personnel development• Engage with customers to ensure customer satisfactionQualificationsQualificationsRequired Skills:• Understanding and execution of Risks and Opportunities principles.• Understanding and execution of Earned Value Management principles.• Experience working with supply chain and the supply base.• Experience working with diverse, multifunctional teams.• Strong written and oral presentation skills.• Proposal Development and Capture Leadership• Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to program informationDesired Skills:• Prior experience working on Military Weapons System Development.• PMP Certification or equivalent.• Advanced Degree preferred.• Aerospace Industry Experience• Greater than 2 years experience in Project-Program Management and/or Project-Program Financial management preferably on Military Defense program• This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving in short time frame (reinstatement), a secret level security clearance.Required Education (including Major):• Bachelor's Degree; Business, Engineering or Science degree preferred.How We CareAt Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful.
