About the Role
The Athletic is seeking a Senior Editor for its NBA desk. This is a senior role in a fast-paced environment contributing to comprehensive editorial oversight of our coverage, using data analytics to optimize performance, and partner across the editorial organization and business teams on a range of initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of story and communication, working to guide writers around coverage lanes, and be adept at lifting a theme to make a piece shine. Candidates who are available for West Coast game coverage preferred, but not mandatory.
This role is remote for the US and Canada only.
The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
