This is a contract-to-perm opportunity for a motivated self-starter with a passion for building relationships and generating business opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in identifying prospects, engaging decision-makers, and driving the pipeline for sales presentations and new client partnerships.

Responsibilities

Prospecting & Outreach:

  • Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, and phone to initiate contact with prospective clients.

  • Craft personalized messages that resonate with decision-makers and highlight CARIAN’s unique value proposition.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development:

  • Qualify prospects to ensure they align with CARIAN’s ideal client profile.

  • Schedule and coordinate sales presentations, discovery calls, and follow-up meetings for senior team members.

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with potential clients to build trust and long-term business opportunities.

Collaboration & CRM Management:

  • Work closely with the business development and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.

  • Track all activity, leads, and progress in the company’s CRM system to ensure transparency and efficiency.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, key metrics, and market insights.

Industry Representation:

  • Represent CARIAN professionally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

  • Stay informed about trends in the power and utilities sectors to tailor outreach strategies and establish credibility.

Required Skills:

  • A highly outgoing, energetic personality with a passion for building relationships.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in business development, sales, and building a career in professional services.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).

  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms for tracking activity and progress.

  • Knowledge of the power, renewables, or utilities sectors is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: Competitive hourly rate during the contract period.

  • Commission: Performance-based incentives tied to key outcomes, including:

    • Competitive bonus per qualified meeting held with decision-makers.

    • Additional bonuses for meetings leading to RFPs or closed deals.

    • Commission on closed deals sourced through your efforts.

  • Opportunity for a permanent role with an expanded compensation structure based on performance.

Why Join CARIAN?

  • Growth Potential: Be part of a growing company where your contributions directly impact success.

  • Professional Development: Gain hands-on experience in business development while learning from experienced leaders.

  • Purpose-Driven Work: Join a mission-focused firm that’s driving innovation and sustainability in the energy and utilities sectors.

  • Dynamic Environment: Work in a collaborative, fast-paced setting with clear opportunities for career advancement.
