Join our team.Your role at Clorox:This Associate Director, Risk Management will manage the annual life cycle of the global insurance program and provide risk analytics and advisory support related to risk transfer options and alternatives. This role will also work with internal business partners on evaluating loss control and prevention measures, employee safety issues, and fire risk.In this role, you will:• Manage the annual life cycle of the insurance program, which includes:• Developing a renewal strategy with our brokers and in line with Clorox’s risk philosophy.• Working with our internal business partners and the Insurance team to collect and prepare renewal exposure information for the markets.• Presenting the Company to the various carriers via presentations, calls, and meetings that can include Clorox senior executive involvement.• Working closely with the brokers to negotiate and bind coverage.• Verifying insurance coverage under issued policies conforms with negotiated terms and broker specifications; providing ongoing maintenance of policy amendments, endorsements and correspondence.• Have responsibility for the insurance premium allocation and payment process.• Provide risk analytics and advisory support to internal and external stakeholders related to risk transfer options and alternatives.• Help manage relationships with Clorox’s third-party providers such as brokers, carriers, and consultants; negotiate Client Service Agreements with brokers.• Work with internal business partners, including but not limited to business units, Business Continuity Planning, Enterprise Risk Management, Cybersecurity and CISIO, Legal and Compliance, People&, Procurement, SupplyChain, and Plant Management on evaluating loss control and prevention measures, employee safety issues, and fire risk.• Coordinate the process for reporting, managing, and settling claims.• Work with various stakeholders to maintain appropriate standard contract template language to ensure the optimal degree of contractual risk transfer in both inbound and outbound contracts.• Oversee management of Clorox’s wholly-owned captive insurance company.• Collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management, including on evaluating new lines of coverage.What we look for:• 10+ years of risk management experience.• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance or related field and at least 4 years of experience working with a global company.• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with and influence Senior Leadership.• Experience in negotiating and managing commercial contracts.Workplace type:Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFHWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.–Zone A: $144,200 - $289,900–Zone B: $132,200 - $265,700–Zone C: $120,200 - $241,600All ranges are subject to change in the future.
