Counsel
The Farmer’s Dog, a fast-growing pet health service company, is seeking a Counsel to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will provide legal support, oversee various legal matters, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Skills
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills
- Proficiency with legal software and tools
Responsibilities
- Manage a broad range of legal matters across the organization
- Serve as commercial counsel for drafting, negotiating, and finalizing various agreements
- Stay informed about relevant legal developments and regulatory requirements
- Assist in managing external counsel effectively
- Provide support on other legal matters as required
Education
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
