Paid Search Specialist

Position Purpose:As a Paid Search Specialist at The Home Depot, you will be responsible for understanding business objectives and overseeing the development and execution of best-in-class Paid Search strategies that surpass expectations. The Paid Search Specialist will work cross-functionally with Category Marketing, Vendor Partner Managers and other internal stakeholders to execute and optimize Paid Search strategies across Google, Bing and other biddable media platforms.Key Responsibilities:• 25% Monitors Site Activity and Search Program Performance and measures against historical data and KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).• 25% Works with Search Account Managers to create reporting, provide analytical insights and produce team deliverables.• 25% Researches and analyzes trend/performance data to identify opportunities for program improvements and enhancements• 25% Executes daily operations and optimizations for multiple Search Team initiatives.Direct Manager/Direct Reports:• The position reports to Sr. Mngr, Paid Search• No Direct ReportsTravel Requirements:• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Physical Requirements:• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Working Conditions:• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Minimum Qualifications:• Must be eighteen years of age or older.• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Preferred Qualifications:• Hands-on Paid Search experience managing large budgets and multiple stakeholders• Demonstrated proficiency in Google Ads and Bing Ads paid management platforms• Mastery of 3rd party tracking and serving technology related to SEM (Search Ads 360 DoubleClick preferred)• Active Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads, SA360 Certifications preferred• Possess a basic understanding of all digital media disciplines• Strong project and time management skills are a must• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Detail oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through• Good presentation and analytical skills• Good written and oral communication skills• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint (PPT) skills• Previous media agency experience preferred• Must be a team player willing to provide support where needed with projects and planningMinimum Education:• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.Minimum Years of Work Experience:• 2Competencies:• Intermediate/Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel required• Web Development, Scripting, SQL, a plus• A core understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well with others• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; self-starter
